How does the battery perform?
Going up to just 60W (in comparison to 80W on the GEN PT80 S), this device has a built-in 2500mAh battery.
With many 18650 batteries currently designed for use on vape kits reaching around the 2000-2500mAh mark, I found that the battery life on this kit was sufficient.
When using the GTX Mesh 0.2ohm coil at 50W, the battery level did go down a little quicker than when using the 0.4ohm coil.
Charging via a USB C cable took around 45 minutes to an hour. I personally find that devices with built-in batteries are much more convenient as it eradicates the need of an external battery charger and/or spare batteries.
How does the GEN PT60 perform overall?
The GEN PT60 also utilises GTX Mesh coils, and both the 0.2ohm and 0.4ohm coils are included with this kit. Working best with high VG e-liquids, this setup offers warm, intense, and deeply flavourful inhales, and these coils really bring out the best in any flavour you choose to vape.
Vapour production is equally as impressive, and as someone who is used to MTL setups, I was rather taken aback (in a good way).
The coils are super easy to install in the Vaporesso X Tank Pods and only need to be pushed into the base of the tank until they sit flush.
Filling the tank is just as easy and only involves rotating the airflow adjustment ring to reveal a rubber seal that covers a fill port.
On the topic of airflow control, the range of different inhales on offer is incredible. This tank can accommodate tight MTL all the way to a loose, billowy DTL inhale, so offers something for everyone.
One of the features I really appreciated when reviewing the GEN PT80 S was the fact that there was a complete lack of condensation build up nor any leaking and this is mirrored in the GEN PT60.
